Aegis Restauro, LLC is a full-service, award-winning art and historic artifacts conservation and restoration company based in New Jersey, United States. The company has served private and public historic properties and art collections in the United States and Europe for over thirty years. Owned and directed by Zbigniew Pietruszewski and Joanna Pietruszewski, both graduate-program-trained conservators, Aegis Restauro was originally established in 1988 under the name Laboratory for Conservation of Fine Arts. Its name was changed to Aegis Restauro, LLC in 2006. 

Aegis Restauro specializes in the conservation and restoration of fine art and historic and artistic works, architectural structures and elements, architectural art, outdoor sculpture, and monuments. All work conducted meets the US Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation, conforms to the Code of Ethics of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC), and to the international charters and guidelines for conservation of the cultural heritage (ICOMOS). Joanna and Zbigniew have been Professional Associates of the American Institute for Conservation of Artistic and Historic Works (AIC) since 1996.

Aegis Restauro has received awards from National Trust for Historic Preservation, Princeton Historical Society, Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation, and State of New Jersey, for their work on the conservation treatment of unique historic and artistic objects and structures.
